In the aftermath of the DinoQuest Park Catastrophe, a mysterious message found its way to four individuals each a specialist in their field. This message outlined a dangerous mission of unimaginable reward which would send each of these agents to the abandoned island overrun with the ancient reptiles for which it got its name.
Their goal? Reach the DinoQuest headquarters at the center of the island and safely abscond with the coveted Dinosaur DNA from its forsaken laboratory. Not to mention the allure of seeing a real-life dinosaur before their very eyes. As the echoes of this journey reverberate through our intrepid team, one fact remains true. We are all, about to take our first steps, onto Dino Island!
In Episode 0 we introduce our intrepid team of prehistoric pathfinders as each player describes who they're playing, highlights from their character's playbook, and what their secret objective is they hope to accomplish by the end of this series!

Today, we sit down with Skyler, Jackson, Cameron, and Dave to look over the new Daggerheart (created by Darrington Press) TTRPG system's open-beta Character Creation system! We'll go over the various Classes, Subclasses, Domains, Ancestries, Communities, and more as we design our own characters within the Daggerheart system and compare some of the similarities and differences we notice between it and other TTRPG systems!
We're incredibly excited at the release of the open beta for the Daggerheart system and we greatly enjoyed creating characters within it! The system is incredibly versatile while also maintaining a simple-to-understand walkthrough that any player can pick up. Additionally, it does a phenomenal job on developing story and character development over too much focus on numbers and math which we always appreciate!
If you'd like to find out more about the Daggerheart system, be sure to check out Daggerheart.com and try out the open beta content which was just released. There you can not only make a character, but even start playing the game and testing out the mechanics! We can't wait to try it ourselves!
